<b>我们官方的所有IRC频道都可以在<uri link="http://www.freenode.net/">freenode</uri>上找到。</b>
</p>

<p>
我们所有的频道由志愿者管理，用户和贡献者互惠互利，我们认为IRC要向所有人开放。请随时来访并介绍自己，把它当作一种当你遇到问题或有关于Gentoo Linux的疑问时可利用的资源。
</p>

<p>
对于用户访问我们在freenode上支持的频道，我们的要求很少：
</p>

<ul>
  <li>言行要理智而成熟，遵守<uri link="/proj/en/council/coc.xml">行为规范</uri>。</li>
  <li>进入一个频道，请阅读频道主题，其中包含有用的信息！</li>
  <li>大多数频道不欢迎机器人或使用脚本交谈。如果有疑问，请提出。</li>
  <li>未经对方同意请不要对用户/在频道上使用<c>CTCP版本</c>或类似功能。</li>
  <li>请注意我们在#gentoo中营造一个洁净的语言氛围，诅咒谩骂是不允许的。</li>
  <li>同时注意我们不可能在#gentoo中支持一个备选的软件包管理器，唯有Portage！</li>
</ul>

应该注意的是我们<b>不会</b>为基于Gentoo Linux的衍生发行版提供支持。
